Powder Coating and Finishing

All of our divisions at Concord Store Fixture Group have the luxury of utilizing our own in-house powder coating paint line of over 22,000 square feet. Powder coating is far more resilient and long-lasting than conventional liquid paint and is most often the industry standard finishing for store fixtures.

Powder coating is a type of coating that is applied electrostatically as a free-flowing, dry powder and is then cured under heat to allow it to flow and form a coating over the products. It is used to create a hard finish that is tougher than conventional paint.

There are several advantages of powder coating:

Powder coatings emit zero or near zero volatile organic compounds (VOC) making it an eco-friendly choice.
Powder coatings can produce much thicker coatings than conventional liquid coatings without running or sagging.
Powder coating overspray can be recycled and thus it is possible to achieve nearly 100% use of the coating.
Powder coating production lines produce less hazardous waste than conventional liquid coatings.
A wide range of specialty effects is easily accomplished which would be impossible to achieve with other coating processes.

Our powder coating division is diligent about recycling all over-sprayed powder, being sure to minimize waste and control costs. The array of colours availbale is impressive.
